Lush Portrush Halloween night, what a night to remember!

For anyone who had missed their Halloween night with them, must be quite annoyed at themselves. I have been to Kelly’s many of times but this was by far the best. During the day, the build to the night out was unreal, I couldn’t wait get to get my Halloween make up done and outfit on. My chosen outfit for this year was an army cadet, I had the full works, ammunition belt, dog tags, toy handgun, bandana and of course a pair of black shoes. I was quite unprepared on the drink side of things, I was late to pre-drinks at my friend’s house and was struggling to get a lift to the off licence. After I eventually got myself sorted and over to my friend’s, the party started! Everyone started to roll in before the bus came to pick us up, the outfits ranged from a builder to zombie soldiers…bit awkward when someone comes wearing the same outfit as you! At last, the bus finally arrived and we headed our way up the dreaded Shane’s Hill, with countless pee stops and arguments all of us got to Portrush in one piece. We all piled off the bus and stumbled towards to front doors of Lush, one by one our identification cards were checked and we were escorted to the ticket booth. I waited inside until all of my friends gathered in and we all sprinted to the bar for a double vodka and lemonade…..the music was pumping! A few hours went in, the whole group was on the dancefloor boogying and drinks were going everywhere. Until, my friend turns to me to say she feels sick….I grabbed and trailed her to the bathrooms where we spent an the rest of our night. The end of the night, the main lights were all on so that people could see where they were going…I had my friend in one arm and was grasping onto the last dribbles of drink in the other. I got outside and was told finish my drink and so I did, I threw the cup in the bin and continued to the walk to the bus. At the time, I thought I found my bus, me and my friend decided to get on it to only realise when it was starting. We sprinted off the bus and seen our bus with everyone waiting outside on us lol…..we got on the bus and fell down onto the seats as our legs were killing us from all the dancing. Every wee group having a wee chit-chat of their own asking how everyone’s night was, it felt like we were on the bus for ages until we finally reached Kilwaughter roundabout, the bus dropped us all off back to my friend’s house where everyone’s lifts were waiting on them. I had the best option as I only lived across the road so I just walked over. I stumbled up to my door where it took me quite a few tries to get the door unlocked, eventually it swung open and I fell down to the floor in a fit of laughter. I lay there for a few minutes and then made my way to my bed in where I passed out.
